Study programme aims and objectives
Goal of the curriculum is to prepare the IT systems administrators and integrators to work with information and communication technologies in modern ICT landscape.
Studies are carried out by established industry experts, with the balance between both theoretical and practical everyday knowledge. IT systems administration curriculum fits learner who is quick to adapt and solve the constantly changing tasks. IT Systems Administration curriculum graduates have deep knowledge about the structure, properties and behaviour of modern IT systems, with the ability to expand, realign and engage in new services and applications. Learning outcomes of the study programme
The graduate:
- is able to detect, identify, analyze and assess professional issues and offer a variety of methods, techniques and tools to solve them;
- understand the life cycle of an integrated information system (analysis, system design, deployment, documentation, monitoring, management, backup, recovery, availability, security) and the architecture of an organization with a focus on implementing and managing the system;
- independently, being able to justify the choices, use the appropriate methods and technologies to deploy and manage systems;
- be able to ensure the protection, monitoring and availability of the information systems during their life cycle;
- take into account during deployment and management of the IT infrastructure the needs and requirements of stakeholders (customers, contractors, users, administrators);
- be able to work independently and as a member of a team in an international and multicultural environment;
