- mõistab pilvetehnologia aluseid ja tüüpe;
- on kursis pilvetehnoloogiate üldtrendidega;
- tunneb pilves pakutavate teenuste komponente;
- suudab teha teenuste kasutamise tasuvusarvutusi;
- oskab rakendada erinevaid pilveteenuseid IT süsteemide loomisel ja haldamisel;
- oskab automatiseerida levinumaid administreerimisülesandeid.

Kursusel käsitletakse kiiresti areneva suuna - pilvetehnoloogia - olemust, põhimõisteid ja rakendusvõimalusi.
Kursus baseerub Amazon Web Services (AWS) teenustel, samas käsitletavad kontseptsioonid on universaalsed sõltumata konkreetsest teenusepakkujast. Kursusel õpitakse tundma identiteedihaldust, serverite, võrkude ja muude toetavate teenuste kasutamist, teenuste logimist ning automatiseerimist.

1. Ajalugu, erinevad teenuste tüübid (XaaS)
2. AWS, teenuste portfoolio, konsool, CLI, API
3. IAM teenused - kasutajad, grupid, rollid

This course covers the fast-developing area of computing - cloud technologies -, its core principles and usability.
The course is based on the services of Amazon Web Services (AWS). At the same time core concepts are universal and not dependent on any particular cloud service provider.
Course aims to teach identity management, deployment of servers, networking and other supporting services. Logging and automation of common use cases.
