Kursuse läbimisel on tudengil:
- ettekujutus infoturbe valdkonna terminoloogiast, probleemidest terminoloogia valdkonnas - à la infoturve versus küberkaitse versus küberturve;
- arusaamine infoturbest kui protsessist;
- teadmine turvakorralduse headest tavadest;
- arusaam küberturbe majanduslikest aspektidest;
- ettekujutus infoturbe/küberturbe kulutuste optimeerimise vahenditest ja võimalustest.

After completing the course, the student has:
- an understanding of terminology in the information security field, and problems related terminology, e.g. information security vs cyber defense vs cyber security;
- an understanding of the process and life cycle of information security;
- knowledge of the best practices of security management;
- an understanding of the economic aspects of cyber security,
- knowledge about the tools and possibilities for optimizing information/cyber security costs.

Küberturve kui protsess, selle elutsükkel. Turvameetmete valikus järgitava turvamudeli/standardi/best practice’i vms valik. Graded Security/astmeline andmeturve/astmeline küberturve. Mõttekad ja optimaalsed kulutused infoturbele/küberkaitsele. Koostöö organisatsiooni, riigi ja rahvusvahelisel tasemel.

Cyber security as a process, its lifecycle. Selecting the security model/ standards/ best practices for the security measures. Graded Security/ layered data security/ layered cyber security. Economic issues and resource calculations and optimizations for information and cyber security. Co-operation on the organizational, state and international level.
