Kursuse eesmärk on anda tudengitele põhiteadmised, et toime tulla loomemajanduse võimaluste ja väljakutsetega. Kursuse raames saavad üliõpilased läbi mängida enda võimalikke valikuid pärast kooli lõpetamist, mõistes peamisi tegutsemisviise loomevaldkondades ning oma õigusi ja kohustusi ettevõtjana, vabakutselisena või ettevõtte palgatöötajana.

The aim of the course is to provide students with their primary knowledge in order to manage in the context of the possibilities and challenges of creative economy. Students can clarify, within the framework of the course, for themselves some possible choices after graduation, understanding major options for operating in the fields of creativity, their rights and obligations as entrepreneurs, freelancers and employees for a company.

- Kursuse läbinud üliõpilasel on üldine arusaam majanduse, kultuuripoliitika ja loomemajanduse toimimisest ning nende erinevatest aspektidest. Üliõpilane oskab positsioneerida end tööturul ja oma erialal Kunstiakadeemia lõpetajana, valides vabakutselise, palgatöötaja või ettevõtja rolli.
- Üliõpilane mõistab kaasaegse projektijuhtimise ja ettevõtluse toimimise põhimõtteid ning oskab kasutada asjakohaseid tööprotsesse oma idee elluviimiseks. Tal on baasteadmised elementaarsete juhtimisotsuste tegemisest, väikeettevõtte raamatupidamise ja eelarvestamise korraldamisest, intellektuaalomandi kaitsmisest, suhtlemisest erinevate sihtrühmadega (toetajatest kuni klientide/publikuni), oma idee esitlemisest kolmandatele osapooltele ning projekti ja äriplaani koostamisest.
- Kursuse läbinud üliõpilane oskab leida teavet ülal loetletud tegevuste läbiviimiseks ja leida vajalikku toetust.

- The student who has completed the course program has a general understanding of the functioning of economy, cultural politics and creative economy as well as of its different aspects. The student can position themselves on the labour market, in their field, as an Art Academy graduate, by selecting the role of a freelancer, employee or entrepreneur.
- The student understands the operating principles of modern project management and entrepreneurship, and can use relevant working processes to carry out their own idea. The student has basic skills for making elementary management decision, for organizing bookkeeping and budgeting in a small enterprise, about protecting their intellectual property, in order to communicate with different target groups (from the supporters to customers/audience), for presenting their idea to third parties, for preparing their project and business plan.
- The student who has completed the course program can find information for carrying out the above-mentioned activities and to find support.
