Kursuse eesmärgiks on erinevate vaatepunktide kaudu avada kaasajal olulisi sõlmküsimusi, tuua sisse makrotrendidest lähtuvaid probleemikäsitlus ning sotsiaal-majanduslikku vaadet kaasajale. Käsitletavad probleemid varieeriuvad semestrist semestrisse, ainesse kaasatakse külalisõppejõude. Mõned näited võimalikest teemapüstitutest: postkapitalism, nurjatud probleemid, jätkusuutlikus, avalik ruum, uusmaterjalism, uued institutsioonid, inimpsühholoogia - teose/ruumi vastuvõtjana jne.

The aim of the course is to open up important key issues in the modern era through different points of view, to introduce the approach to problems based on macro trends and the socio-economic view of the modern era. The problems covered vary from semester to semester, guest lecturers are included in the subject. Some examples of possible topics: post-capitalism, failed problems, sustainability, public space, new materialism, new institutions, human psychology - as a recipient of the work/space, etc.
