Peamised elus ja eluta keskkonna tegurid. Ökoloogia põhimõisted ja seaduspärasused. Liikidevaheliste suhete tüübid. Organismide kohanemine ja kohastumine. Väljasuremised. Ökosüsteem. Kooslused ja energiavoog läbi nende. Toiduahelad ja -võrgud. Troofilised tasemed. Aineringed. Elurikkus (bioloogiline mitmekesisus). Elurikkuse majanduslikud väärtused. Peamised elurikkust ohustavad tegurid. Globaalprobleemid. Elurikkuse kaitse. Looduskaitse Eestis; kaitstavad loodusobjektid, keskkonnaregister, keskkonnaseire. Keskkonnamõju hindamise põhimõtted. Nature conservation in Estonia; protected natural objects, environmental register, environmental monitoring. Principles of environmental impact assessment. International environmental agreements and organisations. Principles of sustainable production and consumption. Renewable and non renewable resources.
