Saada ettekujutus kaasaegste arvutivõrkude põhilistest võrguprotokollidest ja -teenustest.
Saada kogemus erinevate teenuste paigaldamisest ning haldamisest. Saada kommutaatorite ja marsruuterite alusel konfigureeritud võrkude ehitamise kogemus, klasterarvutuste ning pilveraalinduse realiseerimise kogemus. Vaadata läbi arvutivõrkude turbeküsimused, ohtude liigid ning kaitse variandid.
Omandada marsruuterite haldamise põhiteadmised ja -oskused. Aine arendab IP võrkude administreerimise, konfigureerimise ja ühendamise oskusi.

To get to know about common network protocols and services in modern computer networks. To get skills in different services installation and administration. To obtain skills of networks implementation on the basis of switches and routers, cluster and cloud computing. To consider questions of computer networks security, types of threats and defence opportunities.

Üliõpilane (1) tunneb IP võrgu marsruutimisprotokollide põhimõisteid ja tööpõhimõtteid; (2) oskab konfigureerida marsruutereid ning konfigureerida staatilisi marsruute ja marsruutimisprotokolle RIP, EIGRP ja OSPF; (3) oskab lahendada marsruuterite ja marsruutimisprotokollidega seotud probleeme.
