Anda baasteadmised jooniste valmistamiseks ja lugemiseks; süvendada mõtlemis- ja modelleerimisoskuse ning inseneri loovuse arengut läbi objekti geomeetriliste vormide tundmaõppimise; anda arvutijoonestusprogrammide kasutamise oskus nii tasapinnaliste kui ka ruumiliste objektide jooniste koostamiseks (AutoCAD, Solid Works või teised joonestusprogrammid); anda teadmisi objekti jooniste koostamiseks ja redigeerimiseks; ruumiliste liitkehade ja kolmemõõtmeliste mudelite moodustamiseks ja redigeerimiseks; jooniste vormistamiseks ja printimiseks ettevalmistamiseks.
course aims in English
To give knowledge of making and reading drawings; to develop thinking and modelling skills as well as engineering creativity through learning geometrical shapes of an object; to give skills necessary to use computer drawing software for drawing both 2-d and 3-d objects (AutoCAD, Solid Works, and other drawing software); to give knowledge necessary for the compilation and editing of drawings of an object, 3-d compound bodies and three-dimensional models; drawing formatting and preparation for printing.

Üliõpilane (1) teab tehnilise joonestamise alaseid mõisteid ning nende rakendusi; (2) oskab kasutada loogilist ja analüütilist mõtlemist ning süsteemset lähenemist ruumigeomeetriliste ülesannete lahendamisel jooniste abil; (3) oskab kasutada tehnilise joonestamise alaseid teadmisi teistes õppeainetes ning praktiliste ülesannete lahendamisel; (4) oskab vormistada ja lugeda jooniseid, tuletada ruumiobjektidest tasapinnalisi kujutisi; (5) oskab analüüsida ja modelleerida tehismaailmas ning looduses esinevaid ruumilis- mahulisi vorme; (6) üliõpilane tunneb arvutijoonestusprogrammi vahendeid, mooduseid ja võimalusi joonise koostamiseks, vormistamiseks ja joonise printimiseks; (8) oskab koostada, redigeerida, mõõtmestada ja vormistada kahemõõtmelisi ja kolmemõõtmelisi jooniseid.

The student, who has completed the course, (1) knows about use the concepts of technical drawing and appraise propriate terms in various fields of their applications; (2) can use logical and analytical thinking and systematical approach when solving space geometrical tasks by means of drawings and images; (3) is able to use knowledge and skills of technical drawing to solve problems in other subjects; (4) can produce and read drawings, images 2D and 3D; (5) analyse and model space/volume geometrical forms existing in nature and the artificial world; (6) knows computer drawing software tools, modes and possibilities for drawing compilation, formatting and printing;(8) can compile, edit, mark and format two- and three-dimensional drawings.

Standardid. Formaadid. Joonte liigid. Kujutised: vaated, lõiked, ristlõiked, väljatoodud element, lõikepindade viirutamine. Keermed: keermetüübid, valik, kujutamine, tähistamine. Joonise mõõtmestamine. Eskiis. Detaili joonis. Koostejoonis ja tükitabel. Keevisühendused. Needid. Pinnakaredus. Arvutijoonestustarkvara arengu ülevaade. AutoCAD’i käsusüsteem. Koordinaatsüsteem, absoluutsed ja suhtelised koordinaadid. Graafilised objektid - jooned, polüjooned, kaared, ringjooned, ellipsid, splainid, hulknurgad, tekstid jne. Liitekohtade nihutamine, kopeerimine, trimmimine, ümardamine, faasimine, kontuuride viirutamine, massiivid. Värvid, joonetüübid. Mõõtmestamise üldpõhimõtted. Kihtide moodustamine ja kasutamine. Plokkide moodustamine ja kasutamine. Plokkide atribuudid. Joonise plottimine. AutoCAD kui kolmemõõtmeliste objektide modelleerimisvahend. Ülevaade võrkpindadest ja Solid-objektidest. Standards. Formats. Types of lines. Images: views, cuts, crosscuts, extracted element, striating of cut sections. Screws: types, choice, representation and dimensioning of screws. Dimensioning of a drawing. Sketch. Detail sketching. Assembly drawing and piece table. welding. rivets. Surface roughness. Overview of the computer drawing software development. System of commands in AutoCAD. System of coordinates, absolute and relative coordinates. Graphical objects - lines, polylines, arches, circles, ellipses, polygons, splainid, texts, etc. Moving, copying, trimming, rounding, and phasing splices; rounding off the outlines; arrays. Colors, types of lines. General principles of marking. Formation and usage of layers. Formation and use of blocks. Properties of blocks. Plotting of a drawing. AutoCAD as a three-dimensional objects' modelling tool. An overview of meshes and solid objects. The methods of solid object formation, properties of solid objects. Editing meshes and solid objects. The user coordinate systems. Parallel and perspective projection. Formation and usage of layers.
