Anda ülevaade tänapäeva masinaehitusseadmetest ja nende baasil moodustatud tootmissüsteemidest. Põhitähelepanu on pööratud lõikepinkidele kui kõige arvukamate ja mitmekesisemate tehnoloogiaseadmete grupile. Vaadeldakse ka stantsimis-, vormimis-, ühendus-ja valuseadmeid. Käsitletakse nii seadmete üldehitust kui ka nende valiku põhimõtteid. Samuti pinkide funktsioneerimiseks vajalikke tugisüsteeme (instrumendisüsteemid, laadimissüsteemid, transpordisüsteemid jne). Oluline osa on tööpinkide süsteemidel tootlikkuse tagamisel.
course aims in English
To do a survey of up-to-date mechanical engineering machinery and production systems formed on their basis. A special attention is pointed out to cutting machines (lathes) as the most numerous and diversified group of production equipment. Stamping(forming), moulding, joining and casting equipment and support systems (tooling-, loading-, transport systems) necessary for operation of these machines are also considered. General construction of equipment and principles of their choice are considered. Assuring of productivity of the machinery is essential part in the machine tool systems.

Tunneb tehnoloogiliste abivahendite (tööriistad, rakised, stantsid, pressvormid jt) projekteerimist ja valmistamisvõimalusi; oskab juhtida tootmisprotsesse; omab organiseerimise ja planeerimise oskust; omab projektijuhtimise oskusi mehhatroonikasüsteemi arendamisel; tunneb masinate ja toodete valmistusprotsesside erinevaid variante.

Students get knowledge and skills in: design and manufacturing of production supporting equipment(working tools, mandrels,press tools, moulds etc); production process management,organization and planning; project management of mechatronics systems development; various options of machines and products manufacturing.

Tootmisprotsesside ja seadmete üldiseloomustus masina- ja aparaadiehituses. Toorikute tootmise viisid ja seadmed. Tootmise tüübid ja organisatsioonilised vormid, tootmise ettevalmistamine. Metallide lõikamise füüsikalised alused. Tööstusseadmete põhinäitajad. Seadmete üldehitus, ajamid, kinemaatika, mehhanismid ja juhtimissüsteemid. Häälestamine ja seadistamine. Ülevaade metallilõikepinkide põhitüüpidest ja -lõikeriistadest. Elektrofüüsikaline ja elektrokeemiline töötlemine. Viimistlusmeetodid ja -seadmed. Valmistamise tehnoloogiaprotsessi väljatöötamine. Seadmete valik ja variantide võrdlus. Toote täpsus ja seda mõjustavad tegurid. Tootmise automatiseerimise põhimõisted. Poolautomaat- ja automaatpingid, automaatliinid. Arvjuhtimispingid. Töötlemiskeskused. Paindtootmise moodulid ja -süsteemid.

General characterisation of production processes and equipment in machine building and instrument engineering. Production ways and equipment of stocks. Production types and organisational forms, production preparation. Physical fundamentals of metals cutting. Principle indexes of production equipment. General build-up of equipment, drives, kinematics, mechanisms and control systems. Tuning and tooling. General survey of the main types of billeteers and cutting tools. Electro physical and electrochemical processing. Finishing methods and equipment. Development of the technology process of manufacture. Choice of equipment and comparison of variants. Preciseness of a product and factors that influence it. Principle concepts of production automating. Semiautomatic and automatic benches, automatic lines. Computer control tables. Processing centres. Modules and systems of flexible manufacturing.
