Integreeritud loodusteaduslik kirjeldus Maa kui tervikliku süsteemi funktsioneerimisest ja arengust. Maa kui geosfäärist, biosfäärist ja inimühiskonnast koosnev süsteem. Aatomiõpetuse ja keemiliste reaktsioonide kirjeldamise kontsep tuaalsed alused. Rakkude kui mikroskoopiliste mullreaktori te ehituse põhiiseärasused. Rakk kui isereprodutseeruv Turingi masin. Nanotehnoloogia. Prokarüootsete ja eukarüootsete rakkude ning hulkraksete organismide (taimed, loomad) ehituse insenerlikud alused. Populatsioon. Ökosüsteem. Ökoloogiline nišš. Päikese-Maa süsteem. Integrated description of functioning and evolution of Earth is presented. Earth as a system consisting of geosphere, biosphere and human society. Electron structure of atoms, basics of description of chemical reactions. Cells as microscopic self-reproducing bubble reactors consisting of biopolymers. Cell cycle, cells as self-reproducing Turing machines. Nanotechnology. Design principles of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells and multicellular organisms - plants and animals. Populations, ecosystems, ecological niches. Sun-Earth system. Energy flows in atmosphere and hydrosphere of Earth. Global circulations. Convections in solid Earth, their role in material cycles. Climate. Patterns of ecosystems on Earth. Noosphere, hypothesis of Gaia. Evolution, anthropogenesis. Sustainable development
