Kursus täiendab metodoloogilisi kursusi erialal "Äriprotsesside juhtimine". Kursus rõhutab infohalduse aspekti nii juhtimis- kui ka inseneridistsipliinina. Seoses fookusvaldkonnaga "Digitaalse äri juhtimine" aitab kursus mõista ettevõtte arhitektuuri haldamise vajadust ja rolli ettevõttes.

The course complements the methodological courses within the focus area "Business Process Management." This course emphasizes the aspect of information management as both management and engineering discipline. With regard to the focus area "Managing Digital Business," the course facilitates understanding of the need for and role of enterprise architecture management in a company.

Õppeaine edukalt läbinud üliõpilane:
- rakendab ettevõtte arhitektuuride arendamiseks ja haldamiseks vajalikke oskusi;
- selgitab ettevõtte arhitektuuri arendamise ja rakendamise valdkonna praeguseid raamistikke ja lähenemisviise;
- demonstreerib juhtumiuuringute kaudu võimet ette valmistada, planeerida, rakendada ja hallata ettevõtte arhitektuure;
- teeb meeskonnaliikmetega koostööd juhtumiuuringute ühise töö kaudu;
- esitab grupiarutelude tulemusi;
- osaleb tunnis kolleegide ja õpetajatega peetavates aruteludes.

After successfully passing the subject, the student:
- applies the skills required to develop and manage enterprise architectures;
- explains the current frameworks and approaches in the field of enterprise architecture development and implementation;
- through case studies, demonstrates the ability to prepare, plan, implement, and manage enterprise architectures;
- cooperates with team members through collaborative work on case studies;
- presents the results of group discussions;
- participates in class discussions with colleagues and with teachers.

Ettevõtte arhitektuuri juhtimise kursusel õpivad tudengid mõistma ja kirjeldama organisatsioone tervikuna, mis koosneb äriaspektidest nagu strateegiad ja eesmärgid, organisatsioonilised struktuurid ja äriprotsessid, aga ka IT-teemadest nagu rakendussüsteemid ja IT-infrastruktuurid. Keskendutakse terviklikule lähenemisviisile, mille eesmärk on eelkõige ühtlustada äri- ja IT-valdkondi ühe või mitme ettevõtte piires. Seega annab kursus tudengitele laia ülevaate ettevõtte arhitektuuri juhtimise põhialustest, kontseptsioonidest ja meetoditest.

brief description of the course in English
In the Enterprise Architecture Management course, students learn to understand and describe organizations as a whole, consisting of business aspects such as strategies and goals, organizational structures, and business processes, as well as IT topics such as application systems and IT infrastructures. The course focuses on a holistic approach that aims above all to harmonize the spheres of business and IT within one or more companies. The course thus provides students with a broad insight into the fundamentals, concepts, and methods of enterprise architecture management.
