Kursus koosneb teemadest: tootedisain- ja arendus, tööstuslike protsesside konstrueerimine ja opereerimine, materjalide valimise printsiibid, energia effektiivsema kasutamise projekteerimine, toote turustamise projekteerimine, toote tarbimisest tulenevad keskkonnamõjud, toote eksistentsi lõpu projekteerimine, teenindus, tehnoloogia ja keskkond, nende vastastikused suhted.
