Temperatuuri ja soolsuse määramine, CTD-sondid, andurid, CTD-sondeerimiste andmete esmane töötlus. Veetaseme mõõtmine, kaasaegsed vahendid, seiresüsteem. Lainetuse parameetrite registreerimine. Hoovusmõõtjad, tööpõhimõtted, andmetöötlus. Aparatuur merekeskkonna seisundi seireks, hägususe, fluorestsentsi, hapniku ja toitainete sisalduse määramine. Autonoomsed mõõtesüsteemid, poijaamad. Meetodid andmete edastamiseks, on-line esitlemiseks ja arhiveerimiseks. Kaugseire meetodid. Mõõdistustööde organiseerimine merel.

Temperature and salinity measurements, CTD-probes and sensors, preliminary processing of data. Water level measurements, modern equipment, monitoring system. Registration of wave characteristics. Current measurements, principles of different sensors, data processing. Equipment for environmental monitoring, turbidity meters, fluorometers, measurements of oxygen and nutrients content. Autonomous measurement systems and buoy stations. Methods for data delivery, on-line presentation and archiving. Remote sensing methods. Organization of filed measurements.
