VERSION SPECIFIC DATA
course aims in Estonian
course aims in English
The aim of the course is to deepen student’s understanding of the Earth climate system by applying his/her knowledge of atmospheric physics to describe the Earth climate system and its dynamics and introduce methods of climate science.
learning outcomes in the course in Est.
learning outcomes in the course in Eng.
The student has basic knowledge to understand and describe the basic processes in Earth climate system and is capable to specialize further in climate research PhD studies or has sufficient background for additional training at workplace of public or private sector if the requirements to climate knowledge are not too research intensive.
brief description of the course in Estonian
brief description of the course in English
The course describes Earth global climate system and development of its regional aspects through physical factors, natural variability of the climate, sensitivity to external and internal forcing and methods of climate studying and description.
