Üliõpilane:
1) on omandanud pilootseadmetel töötamise kogemuse,
2) oskab analüüsida pilootseadmete tööd, koostada seadme materjali- ja soojusbilanssi ning mõõta ja arvutada seadme tööparameetreid,
3) suudab anda ülevaate praktikaettevõttest,
4) tunneb praktikaettevõttes kasutatavat tehnoloogiat ning keskkonnaprobleeme,
5) oskab koostada ja kaitsta praktikaaruannet,
6) on omandanud meeskonnatöö kogemuse.

The student will:
1) have gained experience working with a pilot plant,
2) know how to analyze the operation of pilot plants, assemble material and heat balances for the equipment and measure and calculate the operating parameters of the process,
3) be able to give an overview of the company where the training took place,
4) know the company’s technology and environmental problems,
5) know how to create and defend a report on the experience,
6) have gained experience working on teams.

Praktika koosneb kahest osast. Esimene osa (maht 3 EAP) viiakse läbi energotehnoloogia instituudis ning selle käigus tutvustatakse üliõpilasi praktikaobjektidega, antakse juhised praktikaülesannete täitmiseks ja tehtud töö aruande vormistamiseks. Üliõpilased uurivad praktiliselt kuni 3 pilootseadme tööd, mõõdavad ja arvutavad seadme tööparameetreid, analüüsivad seadmete töörežiime omandamaks praktilist kogemust töös pooltööstuslike seadmetega.
Praktika teine osa (maht 3 EAP) kestvusega vähemalt 3 nädalat tuleb sooritada praktikandi iseseisva tööna talle sobivas keemia-, keskkonna- või energotehnoloogiaettevõttes või muus erialaga seotud ettevõttes sobival ajal enne õpingute lõpetamist. Reeglina valivad praktikakoha ja aja üliõpilased ning kooskõlastavad selle kuraatoriga. Praktikakuraator annab nõu, kooskõlastab ja arvestab praktika. Põhimõtteliselt toimub töö üliõpilastega nii ülikoolis kui ka praktikakohas individuaalselt. Pärast praktika lõppemist koostab üliõpilane aruande, mis on kokkuvõtteks praktikandi tegevuse kohta praktika mõlemas osas, ning esitab lühiettekande avalikul praktikaseminaril.
brief description of the course in English
The training consists of two parts. The first part (3 EAP) will be carried out in the energy technology institute, during which the students will be introduced to the training projects and given guidance on completing the training and on formatting the report. Students will study the operation of up to 3 pilot plants, measure and calculate operating parameters of the processes and analyze their operating regimes to gain practical experience working with semi-industrial processes.
The second part of the training (3 EAP), which will last at least 3 weeks, will be carried out independently by the student in a chemical, environmental or energy company of his/her choice or in another company related to this field. It must be completed an acceptable amount of time before graduation. In general, the place and time of the training are chosen by the student and approved by the administrator. The training administrator will give guidance, approve and grade the training. Essentially, work with the students will occur individually both at the university and at the place of training. After the end of the training experience the student will create a report that summarizes the activities of the student in both parts of the training and will give a short public presentation.

Komplekshindamine praktika aruande alusel.
Arvestusele pääsuks on vaja esitada praktika aruanne, teha 10 minutiline ettekanne ja sooritada arvestus. Praktika juhendaja iseloomustus.
Praktika aruande ja ettekande alusel hindamine vastavalt ülesande täitmisele. Kui praktika aruande koostamisel osales mitu üliõpilast hinnatakse igaühe panust eraldi. Arvestatakse juhendaja arvamust ja hinnet.
