VERSION SPECIFIC DATA
course aims in Estonian
course aims in English
Energy technology is an interdisciplinary engineering science having to do with the efficient, safe, environmentally friendly and economical extraction, conversion, transportation, storage and use of energy, targeted towards yielding high efficiency whilst skirting side effects on humans, nature and the environment.
learning outcomes in the course in Est.
Aine läbinud üliõpilane:
- tunneb ära ja kirjeldab energiatehnoloogias kehtivaid seoseid.
- nimetab ja selgitab protsesside maksimaalseid kasutegureid ja tehnoloogia arengut piiravaid tehnilisi ja majanduslikke mõjutegureid.
- valib valida sõltuvalt regiooni eripärast (asustustihedus, tarbimis- ja tootmispotentsiaal, toorme kättesaadavus, keskkonnakaitselised piirangud jne) energiatehnoloogilisi lahendusi, sh tulevikuvaatest lähtuvalt.
learning outcomes in the course in Eng.
The student can recognize, know and describe the connections in energy technology. The student knows the maximum efficiency factor of the processes and the restrictive technical and economical impact factors of the development in technology. The student can choose, depending on the specific region (density of the population, consumption, production, availability of raw materials, environmental protection etc.) the solutions for energy technology, keeping in mind today as well as tomorrow.
brief description of the course in Estonian
Energiatehnoloogia interdistsiplinaarsuse tõttu on vaja teada järgnevaid seaduspärasusi ja fundamentaalteadusi:
