2. omab teadmisi peamistest valdkonda puudutavatest õigusaktidest ning poliitilistest otsustest;
3. analüüsib põhjalikult eelnevalt nimetatud arenguid;
4. teeb uusi lahenduste ettepanekuid;
5. oskab ette valmistada ja esitleda põhjalikku ettekannet etteantud teemadel;
6. analüüsida põhjalikultetteantud kaasusi.

Kursuse raames käsitletakse EL sisserände ja varjupaiga poliitikat ning õigust, Schengeni viisapoliitikat ning õigus- ja piirikontrollisüsteemi, õigusalast koostööd kriminaalasjades ja politseikoostööd.
