Kursus annab arusaamise jätkusuutliku arengu eesmärkidest õiguslikest aspektidest lähtuvalt. Kursus selgitab eluta ja eluslooduse toimimist ja looduskaitset, arvestades neid nii töö- kui igapäevaelus. Käsitletakse globaalseid ja kohalikke keskkonnaprobleeme ning elurikkuse väärtust. Kursus aitab leida vastust küsimusele, et kuidas leida tasakaal elurikkuse säilimise ja inimese vajaduste vahel. Enamikes teemades antakse muu hulgas ka õiguslik käsitlus.
course aims in English
Course gives an understanding of sustainable development goals from the legal perspectives. It explains the main principles of the functioning of living and inanimate nature, and nature protection, considering them in professional activity and everyday life. Global and local environmental problems are discussed and the value of the biodiversity is introduced. Course tries to find an answer to the question how to find a balance between the preservation of the biodiversity and the needs of human being. Also legal perspective has been added to several topics.

Aine läbinud üliõpilane:
- selgitab jätkusuutlikkuse põhimõtteid, peamisi keskkonnaprobleeme, nende põhjuseid ja tagajärgi, samuti seda, et milliste vahenditega neid negatiivseid tagajärgi ära hoida ja kuidas seda teha õiguslike vahenditega;
- selgitab, kuidas toimivad suhted elus ja eluta looduse vahel ja kuidas see mõjutab inimest.
- selgitab jätkusuutlikkuse põhimõtteid, peamisi keskkonnaprobleeme, nende põhjuseid ja tagajärgi, samuti seda, et milliste vahenditega neid negatiivseid tagajärgi ära hoida ja kuidas seda teha õiguslike vahenditega;

- explains the principles of sustainable development, main environmental problems, their causes and consequences, and the measures how to avoid the negative consequences and how to consider this from the legal perspective;
