Kursuse läbinud üliõpilane:
- analüüsib töötajate professionaalse arengu vajadusi ning seob need organisatsiooni eesmärkidega;
- kavandab ja põhjendab organisatsioonile sobivaid kompetentsimudeleid, tuginedes teaduspõhistele lähenemistele;
- rakendab kohaseid meetodeid töötajate karjääri jätkuva arengu toetamiseks;
- kasutab juhendamis- ja mentorlussuhteid toetavaid võtteid töötajate professionaalsuse arendamisel;
- hindab mentorlussuhete toimivust ning teeb ettepanekuid nende tõhustamiseks.

- plan and justify competency models suitable for the organization, based on research-based approaches;
- apply appropriate methods to support the continuous development of employees' careers;
- use techniques that support coaching and mentoring relationships in the development of employees' professionalism;
- evaluate the effectiveness of mentoring relationships and make suggestions for improving them.

Aine annab teaduspõhise ülevaate professionaalsuse arendamise ja juhendamise (mentorluse) oskustest. Õpitavad oskused võimaldavad teha professionaalsuse arendamise ja juhendamise lihtsaks, tõhusaks ja nauditavaks. Põhirõhk on eksperdi mõtlemise õppimisel.
Uusi oskusi õpitakse praktilistes harjutustes, mis võimaldavad igaühel uusi oskusi rakendada, õpitut reflekteerida ja saada oskusi oma erialaste oskuste paremaks omandamiseks, et parandada tööalast konkurentsivõimet, kohanemisvõimet ja pikaajalist karjääri edu.
