Õppeaine eesmärk on anda õppijale süvendatud arusaam tehisintellekti (AI) strateegilise juhtimise alustest. Fookuses on tehnoloogia ja innovatsiooni roll organisatsioonide arengus ning oskus kujundada AI-põhiseid äristrateegiaid, mis toetavad organisatsiooni väärtuspakkumist, efektiivsust ja konkurentsivõimet. Kursusel rakendatakse teenusedisaini ja ärimudeli raamistikke, et õppida kavandama AI-lahendusi äriliste vajaduste põhjal üle erinevate ajahorisontide.

The aim of the course is to provide learners with a deepened understanding of strategic management of artificial intelligence (AI). The course focuses on the role of technology and innovation in organizational development and on the ability to design AI-driven business strategies that enhance value creation, efficiency, and competitiveness over multiple horizons. Service design and business model frameworks are used to support solution planning based on business needs.

Aine läbinud üliõpilane:
- selgitab tehnoloogia ja tehisintellekti rolli innovatsioonis, organisatsioonilises muutuses ja dünaamikas;
- analüüsib ärimudeleid ja -strateegiaid ning tuvastab AI rakendamise mõjud äritegevusele ja -mudelitele;
- kasutab teenusedisaini ja strateegilise juhtimise tööriistu ettevõtte tehnoloogilise arengu disainimiseks;
- mõtestab AI mõju organisatsiooni äritegevusele;
- kavandab tehnoloogilise innovatsiooni tegevuskava üle mitme arenguhorisondi.

After completing this course the student:
- explains the role of technology and artificial intelligence in innovation, organizational change, and dynamics;
- analyzes business models and strategies and identifies the impact of AI implementation on business operations and models;
- applies service design and strategic management tools to design technological development in an enterprise;
- interprets the impact of AI on an organization’s business activities;
- develops an action plan for technological innovation across multiple development horizons.

Kursus annab ülevaate sellest, kuidas tehisintellekti (AI) ja teiste strateegiliste tehnoloogiate rakendamine mõjutab organisatsiooni arengut, väärtuspakkumist ja konkurentsivõimet üle erinevate ajahorisontide. Fookuses on innovatsiooni juhtimine, äristrateegiate analüüs ja teenusedisaini tööriistade kasutamine AI-lahenduste kavandamisel ja sellest johtuva ärilise väärtuse kujundamisel. Õppetöö käigus analüüsitakse erinevaid ärimudeleid, hinnatakse tehnoloogiate mõju protsessidele ja kliendikogemusele ning kavandatakse AI rakendusplaan üle mitme ajahorisondi, mis sobitub konkreetse organisatsiooni konteksti.

The course provides an overview of how artificial intelligence (AI) and other strategic technologies impact organizational development, value creation, and competitiveness through different time horizons. It focuses on innovation management, business strategy analysis, and the use of service design tools for planning AI solutions and its’ impacts on business model logic. During the course, students analyze various business models, assess the impact of technologies on processes and customer experience, and develop an AI implementation plan tailored to a specific organizational context over multiple time horizons.

Õppijad koostavad iseseisvalt või väikestes rühmades organisatsioonikeskse tehisintellekti rakendusplaani, kus nad seovad kursusel õpitu konkreetse äriolukorra ja kliendivajadusega. Töö esitletakse ja kaitstakse semestri lõpus. Hinnatakse lahenduse asjakohasust, sidusust, rakendatavust ja esitluse argumenteeritust.

Students independently or in small groups develop an AI implementation plan for an organization (e.g. in the form of a Business Model Canvas or strategic development roadmap), applying the knowledge acquired during the course to a real-world business case. The project will be presented and defended at the end of the semester. Evaluation is based on the relevance, coherence and feasibility of the solution as well as the quality of the argumentation during the presentation.
