Aine eesmärk on kujundada terviklik arusaam rahvusvahelisest inimressursi juhtimise rollist kaasaegses majanduskeskkonnas ning organisatsiooni tulemuslikkuse juhtimise võimalustest läbimõeldud tööjõustrateegia kaudu, ning anda süsteemsed teadmised ja oskused organisatsiooni inimressursi analüüsimiseks, kujundamiseks, tulemuslikkuse juhtimiseks ning tasustamiseks konkreetses ärilises kontekstis.

The aim of this course is to design a holistic view of the role of human resource management in a modern economic environment and the organization's performance management capabilities through a thoughtful labour strategy. Provide systemic knowledge and skills for analyzing, designing, managing performance and remunerating an organization's human resources in a specific business context.

Aine läbinud üliõpilane:
- teab ja saab aru organisatsiooni tööjõustrateegia kujundamise põhimõtetest;
- omab süsteemseid teadmisi tööjõustrateegia seostest organisatsiooni tegevusega ja üldstrateegiaga ning efektiivset tööjõustrateegiat mõjutavatest teguritest;
- oskab analüüsida seoseid väliskeskkonna, organisatsiooni eesmärkide ja tööjõustrateegia vahel;
- teab ja oskab kujundada inimressursi juhtimise põhimõtteid, poliitikaid ning tööjõustrateegiaid erinevates ärilistes kontekstides: personali planeerimine, töötajate valik ja värbamine, tulemuslikkuse juhtimine, tasustamine.

After completing this course the student:
- has a thorough overview and understanding of the principles of designing the organization's labour strategy;
- has systematic knowledge about the links between the labour strategy and the activities of the organization, and the factors influencing the strategy and efficient labour force strategy;
- is able to analyse the relationship between the external environment, the organization's goals and the labour strategy;
- has knowledge and skills for designing human resource management policies and policies and labour strategies in a different business context.

NB! Aine on mõeldud deklareerimiseks ainult MAEM Ettevõtlik juhtimine MBA õppekava üliõpilastele. Õppejõul on õigus kõik muud deklaratsioonid tühistada, tuginedes õppekorralduse eeskirja (ÕKE) § 12 lõikes 11 kirjapandud eranditele, et aine kuulub ainult tasulisse õppekavasse ja ainel on limiteeritud kuulajakohtade arv.

Kursusel käsitletakse õpiväljundites kirjeldatud teemasid läbi iseseisva lugemismaterjali ning individuaalset ettevalmistust nõudvate ja ühiselt analüüsitavate artiklite ning juhtumite kaudu.
