Anda alusteadmised rahvusvahelise ärikeskkonna toimimise mehhanismidest ja maailma ärikeskkonna trendidest. Võimaldada üliõpilastel mõtestada tuleviku ärikeskkonda ja ärikeskkonnas toimuvate muutuste mõju organisatsiooni toimimisele.

Provide a basic knowledge about the components of international business environment and trends in the global business. Give opportunities to the students to understand the future business environment and the relations with organization.

Üliõpilane:
- mõistab peamisi rahvusvahelise ärikeskkonna mehhanisme ja trende ning peamisi institutsioone;
- tunneb majandusmõisteid ja majanduses toimuvaid protsesse;
- analüüsib poliitilisi, sotsiaalseid, majanduslikke, tehnoloogilisi, keskkonna ning juriidilisi tegureid, nendevahelisi seoseid ja mõju majandussektoritele ning ettevõtetele;
- mõistab poliitiliste, sotsiaalsete, majanduslike, tehnoloogiliste, keskkonna ning juriidiliste muutuste mõju majandussektoritele ning ettevõtetele.

- understands the main mechanisms and trends of the international business environment and the main institutions;
- knows main economic concepts and processes in the economy;
- analyzes political, social, economic, technological, environmental and legal factors, their interrelationships, and the impact on industry and enterprises;

NB! Aine on mõeldud deklareerimiseks ainult MAEM Ettevõtlik juhtimine MBA õppekava üliõpilastele. Ettevõtluskeskkonna komponendid. Makroökonoomiline keskkond. Globaliseerumine. Globaalsed muutused. Tootmisvõrgustikud. Tehnoloogia. Innovatsiooniprotsessid. Tehnoloogiline innovatsioon toodetes/teenustes, tootmisprotsessides/teenindusprotsessides ja organisatsioonistruktuurides. Rahvusvahelised korporatsioonid ja riigid ning nende suhete ja koostöö dünaamika. Trendide positiivsed ja negatiivsed mõjud majanduses. Tähtsamad arengutrendid majandussektorites: põllumajandus, toorained, töötlev tööstus, infotehnoloogia, logistika ja teenindussektor.

Components of the business environment. Macroeconomic environment. Globalization. Global change. Production networks. Technology. Innovation processes. Technological innovation in products / services, production processes / service processes and organizational structures. International corporations and countries and the dynamics of their relationship and cooperation. The positive and negative effects of trends on the economy. Major developments in the industry: agriculture, raw materials, manufacturing, information technology, logistics and services.
