VERSION SPECIFIC DATA
course aims in Estonian
Arendada õppija teadmisi autonoomsetest – isesõitvatest sõidukitest nende kasutamisega seotud taristust ja sotsiaal-õiguslikust keskkonnast. Pakkuda praktilist kogemust autonoomse sõiduki arendamisest meeskonnatööna.
course aims in English
To develop student’s knowledge about autonomous vehicles, required infrastructure and social-legal environment. To offer practical experience of designing and developing an autonomous self-driving vehicle.
learning outcomes in the course in Est.
Aine läbinud üliõpilane:
- tunneb autonoomsete sõidukite ehitust ja rakendusvaldkondi;
- tunneb autonoomsete sõidukite vajaliku taristust ja sotsiaal-õiguslikku keskkonda;
- suudab alamsüsteemide tasemel projekteerida autonoomse sõiduki kontseptsiooni;
- omab praktilist kogemust autonoomse sõiduki arendamisel meeskonnatööna.
learning outcomes in the course in Eng.
After completing this course the student:
- knows the concept and application fields of autonomous vehicles;
- knows the required infrastructure and social-legal environment;
- is able to design a concept of autonomous vehicle on the level of sub-systems;
- has a practical experience of developing an autonomous vehicle as a part of team.
brief description of the course in Estonian
Autonoomsete sõidukite olemus ja rakendusvaldkonnad. Nõuded taristule erinevates keskkondades (avalik ruum, liiklus, kinnine territoorium, tööstus, sise- ja väli tingimused). Õiguslikud aspektid ja seadused erinevates keskkondades liikumisel. Sotsiaalsed aspektid juhita sõidukite kasutamisel. Autonoomsete sõidukite platvormid ja tehnoloogilised lahendused. Alam-süsteemid ja nendevaheline kommunikatsioon. Alamsüsteemide valik ja projekteerimine. Osalemine autonoomse sõiduki arenduses.
brief description of the course in English

Legal aspects and laws in different environments. Social aspects. Platforms and technologies of autonomous vehicles. Sub-systems and communication. Selection of sub-systems and design of autonomous vehicle. Development of autonomous vehicle as a member of team.
type of assessment in Estonian
Arvestuse eelduseks on aine moodulite positiivne arvestamine ja praktilise töö raames loodud lahenduse presenteerimine ning dokumentatsiooni esitamine.
type of assessment in English
Prerequisite of positive grade is a positive evaluation of course modules and presentation of practical solution with required documentation.
independent study in Estonian
independent study in English
On the frame of individual work students deepen their knowledge on the field and prepare practical work with presentations.
As a team member student will participate on the development process of autonomous vehicle design on the frame of individual work.
