Õppeaine läbinud tudeng:
1) tunneb arenguökonoomika ja institutsionaalse ökonoomika olulisemaid põhikontseptsioone ning oskab neid rakendada nii suulises kui kirjalikus argumentatsioonis;
2) mõistab institutsioonide olemust ja nende rolli majandusarengu kujunemisel;
3) mõistab majandusarengu ja institutsioonide rakenduslikke aspekte ning oskab vastavasisulisi probleeme tuvastada nii akadeemilises kui praktilises diskussioonis.
