Omandada laiapõhjalisi teadmisi jätkusuutliku energeetika materjalide omadustest, valmistamise erinevatest tehnoloogiatest ning materjalide kasutamisest.

Tutvuda jätkusuutliku energeetika materjalide valmistamise keemiliste ja füüsikaliste meetoditega etteantud omadustega materjalide saamiseks

Kujundada õiged hoiakud erialaliseks loominguliseks tegutsemiseks, vastutuse kandmiseks ja elukestvaks enesetäiendamiseks.

Anda ettevalmistus töötamiseks materjaliteaduse ja tehnoloogia arenduse vallas või muul kvalifitseeritud tegevusalal, näidates seejuures algatusvõimet ja vastutustunnet

Mõista materjalitehnoloogia probleeme ja kohta jätkusuutliku ühiskonna arengus.

To acquire broad-based knowledge of the properties of sustainable energetics materials, different technologies of production and materials use

To familiarize with making sustainable energetics materials by the chemical and physical methods to obtain materials with required properties

To familirize with possibilities of materials use for sustainable energetics

To develop proper attitudes for creative activities in one's speciality, sense of responsibility and life-long learning

To prepare for development work in the field of materials science and technology or in another specialized area, encouraging initiative and responsibility

To comprehend problems and role of materials technology in the development of sustainable society

Omab laiapõhjalisi teadmisi jätkusuutliku energeetika materjalide omadustest, valmistamise erinevatest tehnoloogiatest ning materjalide kasutamisest.

Tunneb jätkusuutliku energeetika materjalide valmistamise keemilisi ja füüsikalisi tehnoloogiaid etteantud omadustega materjalide saamiseks

Tunneb materjalide kasutamise erinevaid võimalusi säästliku energeetika tarbeks

Suudab analüüsida, hinnata ja pakkuda innovatiivseid lahendusi eriala tehnoloogilistele probleemidele.

Oskab koguda teaduslik-tehnoloogiaalast informatsiooni, seda loovalt tõlgendada ning kasutada probleemide lahendamisel ja enesetäiendamiseks.

Vaadeldakse energeetikas enamkasutatavate materjalide valmistamise põhilisi füüsikalisi, keemilisi, elektrokeemilisi ja kolloidkeemilisi tehnoloogiaid. Analüüsitakse saadud materjalide järeltöötluse ja täiendava aktiveerimise põhilisi meetodeid (elektropoleerimine, mehhaaniline ja ioonpuhastus, selektiivne lahustamine). Vaadeldakse nanomesopoorsete metallide, süsiniku, oksiidide jne sulamite ja polümeeride põhilisi valmistamismeetodeid. Seminarides kuulatakse magistrantide koostatud ettekandeid ja valmistutakse magistritöö teostamiseks materjalide tehnoloogia vallas.
brief description of the course in English
Basic materials production / synthesis methods (physical, chemical, electro-chemical and colloidal) will be discussed. Influence of surface treatment and reactivation processes on the material properties will be analysed. Main synthesis method of nanomesoporous metal, carbon and oxide materials will be characterised. Preparation methods of melts and nanowire polymers will be analysed. Oral presentations prepared by master degree students will be organised for the future development of master degree work in the field of materials technology.
