Õppeaine eesmärk on toetada valmisoleku kujunemist majanduse ja ettevõtluse teemade mõistmiseks ja käsitlemiseks õppeprotsessis.

The aim of the subject is to support the development of readiness to understand and address the issues of economics and business in the study process.

Õppeaine edukal läbimisel üliõpilane:
- mõistab majanduse olemust, majanduskeskkonna toimimist ning ettevõtluse rolli ühiskonnas, tuginedes ajakohasele informatsioonile;
- planeerib ja viib läbi majandus- ja ettevõtlusõpet, lähtudes nüüdisaegsest õpikäsitusest, õppekavast ja õppijate iseärasustest;
- kasutab majandus- ja ettevõtlusõppe läbiviimisel asjakohast õppesisu, tuginedes ajakohastele ja usaldusväärsetele allikatele;
- valib ettevõtlusõppe läbiviimiseks õppimist ja õppija arengut toetavad õppe- ja hindamismeetodid ning ülesanded;
- koostab ettevõtlusõpet toetavat didaktiliselt otstarbekat õppevara.

Upon successful completion of the subject, the student:
- understands the nature of the economy, the functioning of the economic environment and the role of business in society, based on up-to-date information;
- plans and conducts economic and business studies based on a modern approach to learning, the curriculum and the characteristics of students;
- uses appropriate learning content in conducting economics and entrepreneurship studies, based on up-to-date and reliable sources;
- selects teaching and assessment methods and tasks that support learning and learner development for conducting entrepreneurship studies;
- compiles didactically useful study materials supporting entrepreneurship education.

Ettevõtlusõppe praktikumi raames uurivad üliõpilased majanduse ja ettevõtlusalaseid ajakohaseid allikaid, täiendavad ja kinnistavad süvendatult oma teadmisi majanduse ja ettevõtluse olemusest ja põhimõistetest: Majandus, majandusteadus, mikro- ja makroökonoomika, majandussektorid ja -tegevusalad. Ressursid ja vajadused, ratsionaalne majanduslik käitumine ja eelarve, nappus, piirprintsiip, alternatiivkulu. Tootmistegurid: loodusressursid, inimressurss (tööjõud, töötaja, tööandja rollid) ja kapital. Majanduse põhiküsimused. Majandussüsteemid. Nõudlus, pakkumine ja turutasakaal turumajanduses. Konkurents. Raha ja finantsturg, finantsteenused. Riigi roll majanduses, maksusüsteem. Majanduse areng, SKP, THI, inflatsioon, töötuse määr, majandustsüklid. Rahvusvaheline majandus. Ettevõtlikkus, ettevõtlus, ettevõtja ja ettevõte - füüsilisest isikust ettevõtja, äriühingud. Ettevõtluskeskkond, sise- ja väliskeskkond, PESTLE analüüs. Vastutustundlik ettevõtlus. Äriplaan. Turundus. Ettevõtte majandusarvestuse alused: vara, kohustised, omakapital. Käibevara, põhivara, põhivara amortisatsioon. Kulud, tulud, omahind, müügihind. Majandustehingute dokumenteerimine ja kirjendamine. Kasum, kahjum, bilanss.
Õppetegevuste ja õppevara planeerimine õppeperioodiks, majanduse ja ettevõtluse teemade jaotus üliõpilaste vahel ning praktikumides õppetegevuse läbiviimine kaasüliõpilastele (sh õppekäigud ettevõttesse/oma töökohta, Eesti Panga muuseumisse, Töötukassasse vm). Oma õppetegevuse refleksioon ja kaasüliõpilaste õppetegevuse tagasisidestamine.

In the framework of the Entrepreneurship Internship, students study up-to-date sources of economics and entrepreneurship, supplementing and consolidating their knowledge of the nature and basic concepts of economics and entrepreneurship: Economics, economics, micro- and macroeconomics, economic sectors and activities. Resources and needs, rational economic behavior and budget, scarcity, marginal principle, opportunity cost. Factors of production: natural resources, human resources (labor, employee, employer roles) and capital. Key economic issues. Economic systems. Demand, supply and market equilibrium in a market economy. Competitors. Money and financial market, financial services. The role of the state in the economy, the tax system. Economic development, GDP, CPI, inflation, unemployment rate, economic cycles. International economy. Entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship, entrepreneur and enterprise - self-employed, companies. Business environment, internal and external environment, PESTLE analysis. Responsible business. Business plan. Marketing. Basis of the company's accounting: assets, liabilities, equity. Current assets, fixed assets, depreciation of fixed assets. Expenses, income, cost, sales price. Documentation and recording of transactions. Profit, loss, balance sheet.
Planning of study activities and study materials for the study period, distribution of economics and business topics among students and conducting study activities for fellow students in internships (incl. Study visits to the company / own workplace, Eesti Pank Museum, Unemployment Insurance Fund, etc.). Reflection on one's own study activities and feedback on the study activities of fellow students.
