Üliõpilane:
1. omab algteadmisi õppimise ja arengu (sh üldpädevuste arengu) aluseks olevate psüühiliste protsesside, nende bioloogiliste aluste ja hindamise põhimõtete kohta;
2. oskab märgata ja analüüsida erinevate psüühiliste protsesside rolli eri vanuses inimeste õppimises (sh üld- või võtmepädevuste kujunemisel);
3. oskab analüüsida eri vanuses õppijate arenguvajadusi, tuginedes teadmistele psüühilistest protsessidest.

Student:
1. has a basic understanding of the mental processes underlying learning and development, including the development of generic competences, and the biological basis and evaluation principles;
2. Is able to notice and analyze the role of different psychic processes in the learning of people of different ages (incl. Development of general or key competences);
3. is able to analyze the developmental needs of learners of different ages, based on their knowledge of psychic processes.

Õppimisel olulised psüühilised protsessid, nende olemus, areng ja omavahelised seosed. Aju strukturaalne ja funktsionaalne ülesehitus, areng ja küpsemine, funktsioonide emergentsus, õppimise neuropsühholoogilised alused, kognitiivse infotöötluse mudel, mentaalsed representatsioonid ja mõtlemisühikute areng, mälufunktsioonid, täidesaatvad funktsioonid, probleemilahendus, loovus, keele ja kõne areng, matemaatiline mõtlemine.

Psychic processes, their nature, development and interrelations are important to learning. Structural and functional structure of the brain, development and maturation, emergence of functions, neuropsychological basis of learning, model of cognitive information processing, mental representations and development of thinking units, memory functions, executive functions, problem solving, creativity, language and speech development, mathematical thinking.

Eksam, mis koosneb individuaalsest teadmistekontrollist ning grupitööde esitlusest ja diskussioonist. Eksamile pääsemise eelduseks on õigeaegselt esitatud ja kokku lepitud kriteeriumidele vastavad iseseisvad tööd.

An examination consisting of an individual knowledge test and a presentation and discussion of group work. The prerequisite for passing the exam is independent work submitted in due time and meeting the agreed criteria.
