Üliõpilane:
• Leiab iseseisvalt uurimistööks vajalikud teoreetilised allikad ja kujundab uurimisainest põhjendatud käsitluse;
• määratleb ja põhjendab uurimisprobleemi ning kasutab kaasaegseid meetodeid nende lahendamiseks;
• loob teadustöö loogikal põhineva uurimuskava;
• Esitab uurimuse teoreetilise aluse kontseptuaalse referaadina, mis vastab teadustööle esitatavatele nõuetele.

Magistritöö koostamise alused ja nõudmised. Uurimustöö senisest käigust ülevaade: teema-probleem-eesmärk-uurimisküsimused-meetodid. Uurimisteema täpsustamine. Uurimsmaterjali analüüs: erinevate teoreetiliste seisukohtade võrdlemine, üldistuste formuleerimine. Erialakirjanduse ning uurimismaterjali otsimine ja kasutamine. Uurimuse vormistuslikud nõuded: töö koostisosad, keel ja stiil, kujundus, viitamine jne. Uurimuse teoreetiliste seisukohtade esitamine. Uurimuse hindamiskriteeriumid.
