The main goal of the Master’s Thesis Project is to provide students with an overview of the e-Governance Technologies and Services Master’s Thesis preparation and writing process
learning outcomes in the course in Est.
Kursuse lõppedes on üliõpilane omandanud:
1. Teadmised magistritöö olemusest, sellele esitatavatest nõuetest ja kirjutamise protsessist
2. Teadmised teadustöö eetikast ja oskused relevantse uurimiskirjanduse leidmiseks
3. Oskused rakendada teadustöö meetodeid enda uurimustöös
4. Suutlikkuse esitada oma magistritöö projekt (ülesandepüstitus) kolmandal semestril

By the end of the course students will be able to:
1. Understand the Master’s Thesis preparation and writing process
2. Have an understanding of research ethics and demonstrate the skills to find and use relevant information sources and data for their own research field
3. Successfully carry out scientifically approved research methods in their own research
4. Successfully pass Master’s Thesis Research Proposal in the third semester

Kursus toimub kombineeritud õppetööna nii Moodle keskkonnas kui ka kontaktõppe vormis seminaridena. Üliõpilastel tuleb kursuse käigus läbi mõelda ja analüüsida oma uurimuse probleemistik, andmete kogumise ja analüüsimise etapid. Moodle’is leiduvate praktiliste ülesannete käigus omandatakse teadmised uurimistöö läbiviimisest vastavalt planeeritud ajakavale.

This course is built as a combination of online and classroom activities. Several seminars will be held to cover critical analysis of primary questions and research problematic of the master thesis and on collecting and analysing of data. Practical tasks will be given in Moodle to review students’ understandings of research and keep them in schedule.

- Kursuse kirjanduse jt Moodle keskkonnas sisalduvate allikate iseseisev läbitöötamine
- praktiliste harjutuste sooritamine Moodle keskkonnas
- üliõpilase enda magistriuurimuse ülesandepüstituse (Research Proposal) esitamine
