VERSION SPECIFIC DATA
course aims in Estonian
course aims in English
Udnerstand systematic/ model-based management of fundamental changes in an enterprise (business ecosystem) and its information system. Acquire the enterprise transformation methodology based on architecture lifecycle and multivariate modelling, as well as the basic skills for methodology implementation at a level which enables continuing independent practice-based learning.
learning outcomes in the course in Est.
Kursuse läbinud üliõpilased.
1. Omavad praktiliselt tunnetatud arusaamist ettevõtte transformeerimise (s.h. digitaalse transformeerimise) kõikidest etappidest ja vaatenurkadest, nende etappide/vaatenurkade vajadustest ja seostest.
2. Oskavad mudelipõhiselt analüüsida ja asjaosalisi kaasavalt kavandada konkreetse organisatsiooni kontekstis vajalikku arhitektuurset muudatust (põhimõtteliselt sõltumata muudatuse suurusest ja keerukusest) kõigis vajalikes vaadetes (n. eesmärgid/nõuded, võimekused, projektid/programmid/portfell,..).
3. Teavad ettevõtte jätkusuutliku transformeerimise jaoks olulisi lähenemisi, meetodeid ja tööriistu ning oskavad neid rakendada.
4. Tunnevad ettevõtte transformeerimise protsessi (metoodika) aluseid ja oskavad neid ka rakendada.
5. Tunnevad ettevõtte transformeerimise projekti töökorralduse (võimalikud rollid, tööjaotus, koostöö) aluseid oskavad täita sellistes projektides vajalikke põhirolle.
learning outcomes in the course in Eng.
On completion of the course, the student:
1. Has a practice-based understanding of all the stages and aspects of enterprise transformation (including digital transformation), and the necessity and connections between such stages/aspects.
2. Can undertake model-based analysis of and plan (with the involvement of the parties) the architectural changes required in the context of a particular organisation (irrespective of the size and complexity of the change) in all necessary respects (e.g. goals/requirements, capacities, projects/programmes/portfolio, etc.).
3. Understand the approaches, methods and tools relevant for sustainable enterprise transformation and know how to apply them.
4. Know the basics of the enterprise transformation process (methodology) and can also apply them.
5. Know the basics of managing the work for the enterprise transformation project (possible roles, division of labour, co-operation), and can fulfil the main roles necessary for such projects.
brief description of the course in Estonian
Kursuse käigus õpitakse arhitektuuripõhiselt (paljuvaateliselt) modelleerima ja mudelipõhiselt juhtima/teostama radikaalseid (inimesi, protsesse ja tehnoloogiad ning nende koostoimeid hõlmavaid) muudatusi ettevõttes (vm. äri ökosüsteemis) ja tema infosüsteemi(de)s juhindudes ettevõtte inseneeria põhikontseptidest (ettevõtte ontoloogia, ettevõtte arhitektuur, arhitektuuri elutsükkel) ning tegevusliku disainiuuringu (Action Design Research) teaduslikust meetodist.
brief description of the course in English
The course teaches architecture-based (multivariate) modelling and model-based management/ implementation of radical changes (involving people, processes and technologies, and their interactions) in an enterprise (or other business ecosystems) and its information system(s), based on the main enterprise engineering concepts (enterprise ontology, enterprise architecture, architecture life cycle) and the scientific method of Action Design Research.
type of assessment in Estonian
Teadmiste kontroll toimub eksamil. Üliõpilane peab eksamile pääsemiseks olema koostanud ja kaitsnud projekti.
type of assessment in English
The knowledge is tested in an examination. In order to take the examination, the student must have compiled and defended the project.
independent study in Estonian
2* 16 tundi loenguid + 2*16 harjutustundi (sisaldab individuaalseid konsultatsioone) + 92 tundi iseseisvat (sisaldab projekti) tööd = 156 tundi
