Integreeritud uurimisseminari peamine idee on analüüsida ja mõista reaal-elulisi juhtumeid õpingute jooksul kolmes erinevas riigis ja ülikoolis. Tulles Leuven’ist, uuritavat juhtumit täiendatakse ja arendatakse edasi. Õppeaine üldeesmärk on luua võimekused, et mõista, võrrelda ning vastandada avaliku sektori innovatsiooni ja e-valitsemise vallas reaalseid juhtumeid ja kogemust kolmes osalevas riigis.

Basic idea of the integrated research seminar is to reflect and study a real-life case following the three countries and universities integrated into the programme. Coming from Leuven, the real-life case will be further developed and refined. General objective of the subject is to be able to understand, compare and contrast the experiences working on real-life case studies in the area of public sector innovation and e-governance in the three participating host countries.

Õppeaine edukalt läbinud üliõpilane:
- Mõistab, võrdleb ja vastandab kogemusi seonduvalt töötamisega eluliste juhtumite kallal kolmes erinevas riigis, mis puudutavad avaliku sektori innovatsiooni ja e-valitsemise valdkonda;
- Demonstreerib baasteadmisi haldusjuhtimise valdkonnast;
- On võimeline arutlema juhtumi üle haldusjuhtimise perspektiivist lähtuvalt;
- On suuteline lisama spetsiifilisi infotehnoloogia kontseptsioone reaalsetesse juhtumitesse;
- Demonstreerib süvendatud teadmisi e-valitsemise infotehnoloogilisest poolest;
- On võimeline kasutama infotehnoloogiaid ning integreerima neid elulistesse juhtumitesse;
- Mõistab avalikus sektoris IT kasutamisega seonduvaid probleeme ja sõltuvusi;
- Demonstreerib oskusi seonduvalt teadusliku teadmise omandamisega, teadmise esitlemisega ning rühmatöös osalemisega.

After successfully passing the subject the student:
- understands, compares and contrasts the experiences in working on real-life case studies in the area of public sector innovation and e-governance in the three participating host countries;
- demonstrates basic understanding in the field of public management;
- is able to discuss the case from public management perspective;
- is capable of adding specific concepts of information technology into the real-life case;
- demonstrates a deepened knowledge on the information technology side of eGovernment;
- is able to use information technologies and integrate them into the real-life cases;
- understands the problems and dependencies of using IT in the public sector;
- demonstrates skills in acquiring profound scientific knowledge and presentation as well as group working abilities.
