VERSION SPECIFIC DATA
course aims in Estonian
Õppeaine eesmärk on õpetada tudengeid mõistma Eesti tervisevaldkonnas rakendatavate infosüsteemide omadusi (capability) läbi standardsete arhitektuuri vaadete. Tudengid uurivad rühmatöö käigus Eesti e-tervisega seotud süsteemide omadusi. Tervishoius kasutatavate infosüsteemide omaduste uurimine valmistab tudengid ette uute süsteemide loomiseks ja olemasolevatega integreerimiseks. Arhitektuuri vaadete valik põhineb standardsel arhitektuuri raamistikul Zachman, Eesti e-tervise andmelevituse standardil, rakendustel ja andmebaasidel. Standardse arhitektuuriraamistiku rakendamise kogemus annab tudengitele võimekuse mõista erinevate infosüsteemide kirjeldusi ning kirjeldada iseseisvalt infosüsteeme võrreldaval kujul. Infosüsteemide metoodiline kirjeldamine annab tudengitele võimaluse arutleda Eesti tervisevaldkonna infosüsteemide terviklikkuse üle.
course aims in English
students to understand the capabilities of information systems used in the Estonian health sector through standard architectural viewpoints. Through group work, students examine the capabilities of information systems related to Estonian e-health. The analysis of capabilities of healthcare information systems prepares students for the development of new systems and for integration with existing ones.
The selection of architectural viewpoints is based on the standard Zachman architectural framework, the Estonian e-health data exchange standard, as well as relevant applications and databases. Experience in applying a standard architectural framework equips students with the ability to understand descriptions of different information systems and to independently describe information systems in a comparable and systematic manner. Methodical description of information systems enables students to discuss the overall coherence and integrity of information systems in the Estonian health sector.
learning outcomes in the course in Est.
Aine läbinud üliõpilane:
- kirjeldab tervishoiu jaoks arendatava infosüsteemi nõuded;
- kasutab erinevaid raamistikke IS arhitektuuri loomiseks;
- hindab infosüsteemi nõuete terviklikkust ja järjepidevust tellija, arendaja ja lõppkasutaja vaatenurgast.
learning outcomes in the course in Eng.
After completing this course, the student:
- is able to describe the requirements of an information system developed for healthcare;
- is able to use different frameworks for designing information system architectures;
- is able to assess the completeness and consistency of information system requirements from the perspectives of the client, the developer, and the end user.
brief description of the course in Estonian
brief description of the course in English
The course Healthcare Information Systems and Analysis introduces the specification of healthcare information system requirements in a manner that ensures compliance with healthcare-specific standards and data protection requirements. In addition, students learn to evaluate requirement specifications from the perspectives of different stakeholders. During the lecture series, students produce a requirements analysis that meets defined evaluation criteria.
