VERSION SPECIFIC DATA
course aims in Estonian
Aine eesmärgiks on anda õppijale arusaam sellest, kuidas toimub raadiolainete tekitamine ja suunamine, nende levi ruumis ja vastuvõtt sidekanali teises otsas.
course aims in English
The aim of the course is to provide the student with an understanding of how radio waves are generated and directed, how they propagate through space, and how they are received at the other end of a communication channel.
learning outcomes in the course in Est.
Õppeaine läbinud üliõpilane:
- võrdleb peamisi antennitüüpe etteantud tehniliste nõuete alusel ning põhjendab sobiva lahenduse valikut;
- mõõdab antenni peamisi parameetreid, kasutades etteantud mõõteseadmeid ja dokumenteerib tulemused vastavalt juhendile;
- modelleerib MATLAB-keskkonnas etteantud tingimustel lihtsa raadiokanalit ja analüüsib saadud simulatsioonitulemusi;
- analüüsib erinevate keskkondade mõju raadiosignaali levile etteantud stsenaariumi põhjal;
- arendab etteantud tehniliste nõuete alusel lihtsa antenni või raadiosagedusseadme prototüübi.
learning outcomes in the course in Eng.
After completing this course, the student:
- compares the main antenna types based on specified technical requirements and justifies the selection of a suitable solution;
- measures the main parameters of an antenna using the specified measurement equipment and documents the results in accordance with the guidelines;
- models a simple radio channel in MATLAB under specified conditions and analyses the resulting simulation results;
- analyses the effect of different environments on radio-signal propagation based on a specified scenario;
- develops a prototype of a simple antenna or radio-frequency device based on specified technical requirements.
