Õppeaine edukalt läbinud üliõpilane:
- iseloomustab raadiosaatjate- ja vastuvõtjate põhitüüpe, tööpõhimõõteid ning nende seadmete parameetreid;
- kirjeldab raadioseadmete põhisõlmi, nende üldist tööpõhimõtet ja neid iseloomustavaid peamisi parameetreid, analüüsib mainitud sõlmede tööd;
- arvutab lihtsamaid sõlmi, nt sobitusahelaid ja filtreid;
- kasutab laboriseadmeid lihtsamate raadiosageduslike mõõtmiste läbiviimiseks.

After completing this course, the student:
- characterizes the main types of radio receivers and transmitters including their working principles and main parameters;
- describes the main nodes of radio devices including their working principles and main parameters, also analyzes their work;
- calculates simpler circuits like matching networks and filters;
- uses lab equipment to perform simpler RF measurements.
