Õppeaine eesmärk on anda ülevaade infosüsteemide haldamise põhimõtetest maailma praktika ja Eesti olude alusel. Põhirõhk on vastavate tööprotsesside kirjeldamisele.

Course aim is to give students a basic acknowledge about information systems management by best practice of world and Estonian enterprises. Course main focus is to study the processes in IT operation.

Üliõpilane:
- tunneb IT haldusorganisatsiooni põhiprotsesse;
- tunneb erinevaid haldusmeetodeid (ITIL, COBIT, LEAN, DevOps, Kanban, Kaizen, e-TOM, CMMI, OBASHI) ja standardeid (ISO20000, ISO9000);
- oskab mõjutada IT haldusprotsesse soovitavas suunas.

- has knowledge about IT operation main processes;
- has a knowledge about different methods (ITIL, COBIT, LEAN, DevOps, Kanban, Kaizen, e-TOM, CMMI, OBASHI) and standards (ISO20000, ISO9000);
- is able to analyze existing IT processes and design optimal ones.
