Õppeaine edukalt läbinud üliõpilane:
- Analüüsib juriidilisi fakte, eristab olulist ebaolulisest;
- Leiab kaasuse lahedamiseks vajalikud õigusnormid ja seob need omavahel tervikuks;
- Koostab korrektse ja loogiliselt struktureeritud juriidilist teksti;
- On õigusmõtlemises paindlik, kuid arvestab meeskonnatöö omapäraga;
- Esitab oma argumente veenvalt, kasutades õiguslikku argumentatsioonitehnikat.

After successfully passing the subject the student:
- Analyzes legal facts and finds relevant information;
- Finds proper legal norms and presents them in logical interrelation;
- Aquires skills of composing correct legal text with logical structure;
- Is flexible in legal thinking, but takes account the peculiarities of teamwork;
- Can present legal statements convincingly, using techniques of legal argumentation.

- Grupitöö: Üliõpilased moodustavad grupi ning neile antakse kaasus. Kaasust arutatakse ja analüüsitakse läbivalt kogu kursuse jooksul. Kaasusel on mitu etappi erinevate tähtaegadega ning üks ettekanne ja lõpparuanne;
- Kursuse teine osa on seotud harjutuskohtus esinemisega.

- Group work: Students composed groups and each group will receive a case. The case study will be discussed and elaborated throughout the course. The case study will have several deadlines for different stages and one presentation and final presentation;
- Another part of the course is related to argumentation skills at particular moot court competition.
