Ainel osalejad omandavad teadmised 1980. aasta Ühinenud Rahvaste Organisatsiooni konventsioonist kaupade rahvusvahelise ostu-müügi lepingute kohta, selle kohaldamisala ja sisu kohta ning omandavad oskused konventsiooni rakendamiseks.

Participants of this course shall have an understanding of the 1980 United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), its applicability and contents and acquire skills for the practical application of the CISG.

Õppeaine edukalt läbinud üliõpilane:
− oskab kindlaks teha, millal 1980. aasta Ühinenud Rahvaste Organisatsiooni konventsioon kaupade rahvusvahelise ostu-müügi lepingute kohta kohaldub;
− oskab selgitada 1980. aasta Ühinenud Rahvaste Organisatsiooni konventsiooni kaupade rahvusvahelise ostu-müügi lepingute kohta rakendamise aluseid ning selle kohaldamisala;
− oskab lahendada 1980. aasta Ühinenud Rahvaste Organisatsiooni konventsiooni kaupade rahvusvahelise ostu-müügi lepingute kohta puudutavaid kaasusi.

After successfully completing the course the student:
− Is able to determine when the 1980 United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is applied;
− Can explain the basic principles of applying the 1980 United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and its scope of application;
− Is able to solve practical cases based on the 1980 United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

Õppeaines käsitletakse 1980. aasta Ühinenud Rahvaste Organisatsiooni konventsiooni kaupade rahvusvahelise ostu-müügi lepingute kohta rakendamise tekkivad küsimusi ning käsitletakse konventsiooni kohaldamise eeldusi ja kohaldamisala ning konventsiooni põhiprintsiipe.

The course discusses the specific issues arising in the application of the 1980 United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, discussing the conditions and scope for its application and its basic principles.

Kursus lõppeb kirjaliku eksamiga. Eksam koosneb ühe kaasuse analüüsist vastavalt aines kasutatavale kaasuste lahendamise metoodikale ning teoreetilisest küsimusest.

The course will end by a written exam. The exam will consist of one case study to be carried out according to the methodology used in the course and a theoretical question.

Õppeaine käigus antakse üliõpilastele jooksvalt iseseisvaid töid, mille eesmärgiks on aidata kaasa aine omandamisele.
