Aine eesmärk on:
- anda üliõpilastele põhiteadmised ja -oskused küberjulgeoleku alal;
- arendada arusaamist küberruumiga seotud ohtudest ja riskidest ning õpetada meetodeid nende ennetamiseks ja minimeerimiseks nii professionaalses kui ka isiklikus elus.

The aim of this course is to:
- provide students with basic knowledge and skills in the field of cybersecurity;
- develop an understanding of the threats and risks associated with cyberspace and teach methods to prevent and minimize them in both professional and personal life.

- mõistab küberjulgeoleku põhitõdesid, tunneb olulisi kontseptsioone ja meetodeid;
- kasutab digitaaltehnoloogiaid, rakendab tehnoloogiaid ja internetiressursse turvaliselt;
- tuvastab ja tõrjub ohte, tunneb ära küberriske ja rakendab ennetavaid meetmeid;
- rakendab infoturbe praktilisi oskusi, kasutab viirusetõrjet ja haldab turvaliselt andmeid;
- tunneb kaasaegseid tehnoloogiaid, omab teadmisi plokiahela ja krüptovaluutade kohta;
- kujundab ja rakendab turvapoliitikaid, töötab välja ja järgib lihtsaid turvapoliitikaid töökeskkonnas.

After completing this course, the student:
- understands the basics of cybersecurity, is familiar with key concepts and methods;
- is capable of using digital technologies, applies technologies and internet resources safely;
- identifies and counters threats, recognizes cyber risks and implements preventive measures;
- applies practical skills in information security, uses antivirus and manages data securely;
- is knowledgeable about modern technologies, has an understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrencies;
- develops and implements security policies: creates and follows simple security policies in the workplace.
