The aim of the course is to provide participants with basic knowledge and skills in creating, transforming and observing spatial objects with AutoCAD.

Üliõpilane:
- teab tehnilise joonestamise alaseid mõisteid ning nende rakendusi;
- oskab kasutada loogilist ja analüütilist mõtlemist ning süsteemset lähenemist ruumigeomeetriliste ülesannete lahendamisel jooniste abil;
- oskab kasutada tehnilise joonestamise alaseid teadmisi teistes õppeainetes ning praktiliste ülesannete lahendamisel;
- oskab vormistada ja lugeda jooniseid, tuletada ruumiobjektidest tasapinnalisi kujutisi;
- oskab analüüsida ja modelleerida tehismaailmas ning looduses esinevaid ruumilis- mahulisi vorme;
- üliõpilane tunneb arvutijoonestusprogrammi vahendeid, mooduseid ja võimalusi joonise koostamiseks, vormistamiseks ja joonise printimiseks;
- oskab koostada, redigeerida, mõõtmestada ja vormistada kahemõõtmelisi ja kolmemõõtmelisi jooniseid.

The student:
- knows the concepts of technical drawing and their applications;
- is able to use logical and analytical thinking and a systematic approach to solving spatial geometric problems using drawings;
- is able to use knowledge of technical drawing in other subjects and in solving practical tasks;
- is able to format and read drawings, derive planar images from spatial objects;
- is able to analyze and model spatial forms occurring in the artificial world and in nature;
- the student is familiar with the means, methods and possibilities of a computer drawing program for compiling, formatting and printing a drawing;
- is able to compile, edit, dimension and format two-dimensional and three-dimensional drawings.

AutoCAD’i käsusüsteem. Koordinaatsüsteem, absoluutsed ja suhtelised koordinaadid. Graafilised objektid - jooned, polüjooned, kaared, ringjooned, ellipsid, splainid, hulknurgad, tekstid jne. Liitekohtade nihutamine, kopeerimine, trimmimine, ümardamine, faasimine, kontuuride viirutamine, massiivid. Värvid, joonetüübid. Mõõtmestamise üldpõhimõtted. Kihtide moodustamine ja kasutamine. Plokkide moodustamine ja kasutamine. Plokkide atribuudid. Joonise plottimine. Layout´id ja nende kasutamine.

AutoCAD command system. Coordinate system, absolute and relative coordinates. Graphic objects - lines, polylines, arcs, circles, ellipses, splines, polygons, texts, etc. Shifting of the joint points, copying, trimming, rounding, chamfering, contouring, arrays. Colors, line types. General principles of dimensioning. Formation and use of layers. Creating and using blocks. Block attributes. Plotting a drawing. Layouts and their use.
