Õppeaine eesmärk on anda üliõpilastele:
- põhiteadmised UI/UX disaini põhimõtetest ja metoodikast,
- oskused disaini protsessis, alates vajaduste analüüsist kuni prototüüpide loomiseni;
- praktiline kogemus energeetikateemaliste rakenduste ja veebilahenduste disainimisel;
- võimalus lahendada praktilisi probleeme läbi projektipõhise õppe.

The aim of the course is to provide students with:
- fundamental knowledge of UI/UX design principles and methodologies;
- skills in the design process, from needs analysis to prototype creation;
- practical experience in designing energy-related applications and web solutions;
- the opportunity to solve practical problems through project-based learning.

Õppeaine edukalt läbinud üliõpilane:
- teab UI/UX disaini põhimõtteid ja oskab neid rakendada praktilistes projektides;

- oskab koostada lihtsustatud ja detailseid prototüüpe, kasutades kaasaegseid disainitööriistu;
- suudab välja töötada ja esitleda energeetikateemalisi digilahendusi, nagu rakendused või veebipõhised süsteemid;
- mõistab disainiprotsessi etappe, sealhulgas testimist ja täiustamist.

Õppeaine keskendub disaini põhimõtete omandamisele ja nende rakendamisele praktilistes projektides. Aine käigus tutvustatakse disainiprotsessi etappe, alustades kasutajate vajaduste analüüsist ja prototüüpide loomisest ning lõpetades detailsete lahenduste väljatöötamisega. Tähelepanu pööratakse energiatemaatiliste rakenduste ja veebilahenduste loomisele, arvestades kaasaegseid trende ja tehnoloogiaid. Kursus lõpeb projektide esitlemise ja kaitsmisega, kus üliõpilased tutvustavad oma loodud lahendusi.
brief description of the course in English
The course focuses on acquiring design principles and applying them in practical projects. It introduces the stages of the design process, starting with user needs analysis and prototype creation and ending with developing detailed solutions. Considering modern trends and technologies, special attention is given to creating energy-related applications and web solutions. The course concludes with the presentation and defense of projects, where students showcase their developed solutions.
