The aim of this course is to aquire:
- the methods of building hardware, software and HMI systems;
- the automation object control methods, using WEB-support; software, hardware environment and control methods.

Õppeaine läbinud üliõpilane:
- valib vajaliku riistvara HMI loomiseks ja koostab HMI struktuuri;
- rakendab inimese-masina liidese meetodeid ja tehnikaid praktilistes rakendustes;
- planeerib HMI vastavalt protsessile ja valib selleks sobiva tarkvara ja spetsifikatsioonid;
- teab HMI uuemaid trende ja standardeid ning kasutab neid HMI loomisel;
- valib vajalikke veebitehnoloogiaid protsesside juhtimiseks ja monitooringuks.

- chooses the necessary hardware to create an HMI and designs an HMI structure;
- applies the human-machine interface methods and techniques in practical applications;
- plans the HMI according to the process and chooses the appropriate software and specifications;

- chooses the necessary web technologies for process management and monitoring.

Theoretical foundations of Human-Machine Interface. The visualization of systems and processes. Graphic and touch panels. WEB-panels. The configuration of panels. Creating the HMI interface. Data recording in a database. Creating applications for communication with external devices. The concept of control-based WEB technologies. Web application via HTML. The software for controlling the objects via WEB. WEB-servers and WEB-clients in automation. The hardware of implementing control via WEB. Industrial controllers with integrated WEB servers.
