Õppeaine eesmärk on:
- anda ülevaade inimese-roboti koostöö valdkonnast, keskendudes inimesepoolsele vaatele;
- õpetada klassikalise tehisintellekti kognitiivseid mudeleid, kognitiivse robootika aspekte, robootika psühholoogilisi ja sotsiaalseid aspekte, andmekaevet ja masinõpet koos tehisintellekti põhimõtete ja piirangutega;
- arendada võimet tuvastada ja lahendada interaktsiooniprobleeme, mis on seotud jätkusuutlikkuse ning robootika rakendustega.

The aim of this course is to:
- provide an overview of the field of human-robot cooperation, focusing on the human perspective;
- teach the cognitive models of classical artificial intelligence, cognitive aspects of robotics, psychological and social aspects of robotics, data mining, and machine learning with the principles and limitations of artificial intelligence;
- develop the ability to identify and solve interaction problems related to sustainability and the applications of robotics.

Õppeaine läbinud üliõpilane:
- oskab nimetada inimese-roboti koostöö ja kognitiivse robotsüsteemide põhiprintsiipe, meetodeid ning tänapäeva trende;
- evib praktilist kogemust tehisintellekti kasutamisel;
- mõistab robotsüsteemide psühholoogiliste ja sotsiaalsete aspektide mõju inimestele;
- kasutab tõhusalt ja efektiivselt tehisintellekti ning masinõppe mudeleid;
- oskab analüüsida inimese-roboti koostöö, kognitiivse robotsüsteemide, masinõppe mudelite (AI) rakendamist tööstuskeskkonna tootmiskvaliteedi ja tootlikkuse parendamisel;
- kavandab ringi tootmisprotsessi, rakendades robot-inimese põhiprintsiipe.

After completing this course, the student:
- can name the main principles, methods and current trends in human-robot cooperation and cognitive robot systems;
- is experienced in using artificial intelligence;
- understands the impact of the psychological and social aspects of robot systems on humans;
- uses artificial intelligence and machine learning models efficiently and effectively;
- can analyze the application of human-robot collaboration, cognitive robot systems, machine learning (AI) models to improve manufacturing quality and productivity in industrial environments;
- is replanning the production process by applying basic robot-human principles.
