Aine läbinu: (1) tunneb keemiatehnoloogia protsesside kavandamise põhimõtteid ja etappe; (2) oskab välja töötada protsessi tehnoloogilise skeemi, koostada materiaalseid ja energeetilisi bilansse; valida seadmeid teatud kriteeriumide järgi ning teha seadmete insenerlikke arvutusi; (3) oskab kasutada arvutiprogramme (ASPEN Plus, ChemCAD, AutoCAD, SolidWorks vm) keemilis-tehnoloogiliste protsesside modelleerimisel ja projekteerimisel; (4) oskab iseseisvalt töötada teadus-, õppe-, teatme- ja normatiivkirjandusega, sh võõrkeelsega; (5) oskab ära tunda interdistsiplinaarseid seoseid ning suudab probleeme piiratud informatsiooni tingimustes kohaste meetoditega lahendada, kasutades teiste valdkondade teadmisi.

Those who have completed the course: (1) know the principles and stages of process planning in chemical technology; (2) can develop a technological scheme of the process, prepare material and energy balances; select equipment according to certain criteria and make engineering calculations of the equipment; (3) can use engineering software (ASPEN Plus, ChemCAD, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) in modeling and designing chemical-technological processes; (4) can work independently with scientific, educational, reference and normative literature, including foreign language literature; (5) is able to recognize interdisciplinary connections and is able to solve problems with methods appropriate to conditions of limited information, using knowledge from other fields.

Keemiatehnoloogia protsessi kujundamine ja tootmise projekteerimise käigus lahendatavad tehnilis-tehnoloogilised, majanduslikud ja sotsiaalsed küsimused. Projekteerimise põhimõtted ja etapid. Tehnoloogilised skeemid. Säästvad tehnoloogiad. Standardsed ja mittestandardsed seadmed. Konstruktsioonimaterjalid. Tootmiskulud. Ohud keemiatehnoloogia protsessis.
