- Anda ülevaade tootmise digitaliseerimise Tööstus 4.0 rakendustest ja tööriistades.
- Anda oskused automatiseeritud tootmisliini ja/või paindtootmissüsteemi (FMS) digitaalse (virtuaalse) mudeli loomiseks ja simuleerimiseks.
- Protsessivoo loomine läbi kaardistamise, selle 3D virtuaalse kuvamise, KPI-de digitaalsel töölaual kuvamise, et analüüsida ja jälgida tootmisliinide jõudlust.
- Anda oskused virtuaalreaalsuse (VR) keskkonna loomiseks ümbritseva visualiseerimiseks ja kasutajaliidese (UI) väljatöötamiseks tööstuslike animatsioonide juhtimiseks.
- Anda ülevaade masinnägemise kasutamisest töötlevas tööstuses ja selle integreerimisest erinevatel eesmärkidel.

- To describe and study the applications and tools of production digitalization under Industry 4.0.
- To create and simulate a digital (virtual) model of an automated production line and/or Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS).
- To create a process flow via mapping, setup 3D virtual layout, construct a digital dashboard of KPIs to analyse and monitor the performance of production lines.
- To create Virtual Reality (VR) environment for immersive visualization and develop a User Interface (UI) to control the animations.
- To give an overview on the use of machine vision in the production industry and its integration for various purposes.

Õppeaine läbinud üliõpilane:
- projekteerib tootmisüksuse digitaalseid ja simulatsioonikeskkondi ning integreerib neid virtuaalreaalsuse võimalustega visualiseerimiseks;
- valib tootmise monitooringuks tulemusnäitajaid ja kvaliteedi tõstmise meetmeid;
- loob kasutajaliidest animatsioonide juhtimiseks ja lisab rakendustesse VR/AR kontrolleri;
- mõistab masinnägemise tööriistade tööpõhimõtteid ja integreerib neid praktikas.

After completing this course the student:
- designs, creates digital and simulation environments of production floor/cell and integrates virtual reality possibilities for visualization;
- selects performance indicators and quality enhancement measures for production monitoring;
- creates UI for controlling animations and adds VR/AR controller in the application,
- understands and integrates machine vision tools in practice.
