Anda ülevaade toote- ja teenusedisaini printsiipidest. Omandada teadmised ja oskused disaini protsessist toote- ja teenuse arenduses. Omandada arusaam disaini rollist ärimudeli kontekstis. Omandada teadmised ja oskused turundusest.

Aine läbinud üliõpilane:
- tunneb teenusedisaini ja kasutajakeskse disaini aluspõhimõtteid;
- tunneb disainiprotsessi ja oskab kasutada peamisi toote- ja teenusedisaini meetodeid uute lahenduste väljatöötamisel;
- suudab disainiprotsessi tulemusel luua kasutajatele tähenduslikke väärtuspakkumisi;
- mõistab disainijuhtimise spetsiifikat ning disaini suhet brändi, ärimudeli ja turundusega;
- mõistab turundusmeetmestiku ning toote- ja teenusedisaini seoseid.

After completing this course the student:
- knows fundamentals of service design and human centred design;
- knows design process and can use main methods for working out new product or service design offers,
- can create meaningful value offers for the users as a result of mastering design process;
- understands the principles of design management and its relations to brand, business model and marketing,
- understands the relationship between marketing mix and product and service design.

NB! Aine on mõeldud deklareerimiseks ainult MAEM Ettevõtlik juhtimine MBA õppekava üliõpilastele. Toote- ja teenusedisaini olemus ja peamised meetodid. Kasutajakeskne disain ja selle protsess. Disainiuuringud kasutajate mõistmiseks ja võimaluste määratlemiseks. Disainmõtlemise rakendamine. Disainijuhtimine, selle roll äriidee arenduses ja turunduses. Turundusmeetmestiku seos toote- ja teenusedisainiga. Õpe toimub läbi tervikliku ja praktilise disainiprotsessi läbimängu, mis on põimitud teoreetilise tausta avamise ja protsessi mõtestamise ning analüüsiga. Õppetöö toimub väikestes rühmades.

The essence and main methods of product and service design. User centred design and its process. Design research to understand the users and define opportunity. Applying design thinking. Design management ant its role in business development and marketing. The relationship between marketing mix and product and service design. The study is happening by playing through the practical design process mingled with opening up the theoreticla background, reflecting and analysing the research, ideation and development process. Project work is happening in small teams.
