The aim of this course is to:
- provide an overview of 3D modelling software used;
- give students basic knowledge and skills of CAD using SolidWorks software.

Aine läbinud üliõpilane:
- kasutab valdkonnas kasutatavat terminoloogiat;
- rakendab eluliste ülesannete lahendamiseks raalprojekteerimise 3D programmipaketti SolidWorks põhilisi funktsioone;
- kasutab tarkvara põhilisi tööriistu detailide, koostude ja tööjooniste loomiseks;
- leiab seoseid erinevate tarkvarade ja nende tööriistade kasutamise vahel.

After completing this course the student:
- uses terminology used in the field;
- applies basic functions of SolidWorks 3D program package to solve real-life tasks;
- uses basic software tools to create parts, assemblies and production drawings;
- finds connections between different softwares and the use of these tools.
