Tutvustada magistritöödele esitatavaid põhinõudeid, magistritöö koostamise protsessi olulisi aspektide ja kaitsmisprotseduuri;
Valmistada üliõpilane ette magistritöö teostamiseks;
Anda teadmised teadusliku töö struktuuri ja vormi nõuetest ning ettekande ettevalmistamisest ja esitamisest töö teema valiku põhjendamisel ja töö tulemuste kaitsmisel;
Kujundada harjumused teadustöö planeerimiseks, intellektuaalomandi ja eetika aspektide arvestamiseks teadustöös.

Introduce the basic requirements of the thesis, essential aspects of the preparation process of writing the Master’s thesis, and the defence procedures.
Prepare students to carry out the Master’s thesis.
To give knowledge about the structure and form requirements of a research work and about preparation of respective presentation reasoning the topic selection and arguing the results of the work.
To create skills for planning a research work, to consider IP and ethic aspects in the work.
