- formulates the control principles of common building service systems in buildings;
- assesses the functioning of building service systems in buildings according to the described control logic.
brief description of the course in Estonian
brief description of the course in English
The course starts with introductory lectures into the topic followed by building service system specific lectures. Each of the latter are followed by a practice in the next week and by system initial analysis presentations in the week after that. Detailed analysis of the building service systems in a building is conducted by the end of the course, which is presented in class. The analysis is based on real buildings and their automation system. The building service systems analyses are done in interdisciplinary teams. An individual test in Moodle environment should be done after each lecture to consolidate the knowledge obtained in lecture.
There are no prerequisites for participants, but it is beneficial to have pre-knowledge about building service systems or control systems and data-driven analysis to effectively participate in inter-disciplinary group work.
