Study programme aims and objectives
Using technologies requires an understanding of how technology transforms business processes,
strategies and policies. The IT officers and specialists of tomorrow need a programme that will enable them to innovatively utilise technologies in order to achieve business goals. The aim of the Business Information Technology Master’s programme is to educate leading ICT specialist in the fields of (a) business analysis and enterprise architecture, (b) information systems analysis and architecture and (c) business information and data analysis. Graduation requirements
Completion of the curriculum in the required amount, and the successful defence of the graduation paper in conformity with the requirements set by the TalTech Senate.

The aim of master's thesis is to create the possibility of undertaking an independent scientific/ applied sciences/ engineering (research) project.
Learning outcomes
A student, who has successfully defended the master's thesis:
- identifies independently scientific, applied, or engineering problems in their field that require solutions;
- sets clear and achievable objectives, considering the problem and time constraints;
- selects and justifies an appropriate methodology based on the objectives;
