The student who has completed the curriculum in the required volume can continue his/her studies in Engineering at Master´s level or to pursue a professional career e.g. in the field of product development, production engineering, robotics, industry automation or transport engineering.

- participates in planning, start-up and implementation of new product development and/or robotics projects and takes into account the economic efficiency and the market potential of a new product or solution;
- performs professional engineering calculations and structural analysis taking into account the properties of materials and environmental protection;
- prepares component and system models by using modern ICT hardware and software solutions;
- understands the specifics of integrated systems and the problems related to integration of different areas and finds appropriate solutions;
- plans and models product development and manufacturing processes by using recognised methodologies, whereas being flexible with regard to the conditions arising from an enterprise or situation.

successful defence of the graduation paper in conformity with the requirements set by the TalTech Senate; In order to obtain Cum Laude diploma the graduation paper must be defended for the grade "5" and the weighted average grade must be at least 4,60, where all grades from diploma supplement are taken into account.
